Guyanese Flag #10

The veneers in this flag were carefully chosen:
-Figured South American mahogany to represent red, rich and strong
-Pre-dyed black poplar for the black, crisp in color and not to be overlooked
-West African zebrawood for the gold for its striking character and color
-Figured English sycamore for the white -though it is a narrow strip, it still has very visible figure in the grain
-African kewazinga for the green which reminds me of flying over Guyana and looking down at the rain forest

This flag is 16 inches wide by 11 inches tall with gold lacquer around the edge.

All pieces are signed and dated.
